I was always interested in various sports and was introduced to disc golf by my brother Brandon, during a visit to Queenstown. I thought we were going to play regular golf and when he handed me a plastic disc, I was confused. Once I heard the sound of the disc hitting the chains and after playing 10 rounds that day, I was hooked.

I spent a lot to time travelling to Queenstown to play and eventually started a Club (Disc Golf South) and installed a course in Invercargill.
